Hello Worthy Brothers,
This celebration has almost become a surprise birthday party, with only a few days to go to prepare for it. But thanks to God and to Laughlin Whalen for sharing with all of us the birthday roster the much-needed product of his God-given talent of resourcefulness, having the party or celebration in so short a time is.a challenge to our living up to the principles of charity, unity and fraternity.
So, come all and enjoy the ambience of loving each other (Charity), of being one in love with God and with each other (Unity), of being brothers(Fraternity) in and of the Lord. Come and join your Christian family with no other thought than being with your loving family in the faith. This is a sort of trial balloon for an every other two months birthday celebration throughout the year.
Don't hesitate to bring your wife, or family or a guest (but let us know how many of you are coming). If you are bringing a pot luck (let us know what it is to avoid any duplication); bring a gift-raffle(not less than $10 -worth) to be raffled off; let us know if you want to participate in the program to share your talent in singing , dancing, etc. There will be 50/50. raffle...Donation of $10/person will be appreciated.
Please, response as soon possible no later than Monday or Tuesday(?) so that we can calculate how much food we are going to order. Thank you very much..
